Anyone recommend a decent independent P38 specialist in the West Midlands, who can actually tell me whats wrong with mine? Or anyone got diagnostics equipment locally who wants to plug into it for me? Ransom paid.

Hi Irish Im also in Walsall closer to brownhills though. Erm, mine, wont idle, seems to run on choke at just over 1000rpm, then like when the choke cuts out no idle, try to restart it and sounds flooded, when it does restart it misfires until you rev it out, but still won't idle. Scanned it with my mates Snap On scanner for live data, but shows no signs of air flow or trims. Don't know if this is because the scanners not picking it up or because this is whats wrong with it? Or if the ECU isn't reading the components, or if the other readings I've got ar correct, or needs a gearbox........................................:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:. If you would be so kind to pop in and have a look when you're here. As it looks like you've been nominated as the West Midlands specialist

Very small world I live in Walsall Wood about 2 minutes from the Spring Cottage, haha. That would be cool, hopefully will see you soon.
