well as ive spent the last few days driving thru deep water what with the floods and all that malarky had the water up to the top of my wheels on a few occasions!! kind of thinking of getting a snorkle fitted but is it just a case of getting one and go - play like a boat or should i be doing some thing to my landy before and aft?

cheers for looking!

seems pointless buying one and still buggering up my engine for some other daft reason ive overlooked!

there might be a breather vent on the timeing casings. there will probaly be a short bolt next to it that will need inserting before deep wading and removing afterwards. gearbox breathers may need extending aswell.

are the axle and gearbox breathers behind the engine (4 of em i think?) and should i extend/stick em up with the snorkle cone?
and the air-box has a outlet for excessive oil or something i think? little rubber type flap thing just block that up and seal it or weld up the hole?

Yus, you havin me on. You bung one in yer Clutch cover 1/4"BSP an one in yer Cambelt housing Metric fine can't remember exact size, that's on my 90, probly different on the Dibnah.

Dibnah'll jest have one ont bottom of bell housing being a Series.........cept' my Series hasn't!

the timing cover bolt is allready there. you just need to unsrew it from the plate and screw it into the hole next to it. does that make sense? LRO this month has in depth (no pun intended) article on wading. worth a read, even for the more experienced amongst you.
