why would any body want a **** snorkel??unless you was going swimming in the med.

the only place i wanna to see a snorkel is on a submarine.
water up to my diff is enough for me thx.

Jeesh, I thought we'd done to death the goldfish/coffee pot/lighthouse et al jokes when I fitted the same top to my snorkel.............Real surprised that Slob hasn't commented on the spurious use of chequer plate in the picture though! C'mon, you're slacking chap, it IS spurious!

& if this means I get outbid on the tropical fish I'm watching for mine because you've generated an interest in them Helpme, I'll be feckin furious!

Bastard, I ain't going to fight you for them tho'. There's plenty more fish in the sea........except for Cod apparently!

been away all week but I'm glad to see that this is still going:) Showed my good lady the e-bay item and the first thing she said was: wait for it: "looks just like one of those thingies that you stick in the washing machine". I think that she means those things that you stick liquid in. But admitting that I'm sure would give her more ammo in the chores stakes.

Marcus I've just checked out your gallery and note an absence of of any pictures of lighthouses, coffee pots, washing machines, fish tanks or washing liquid ball thingies. I hope you're not trying to deny its existence old fella! Come on you've been outted - be proud of your ??? well you know what it is;-)

OK I admit it and being the jealous type thought I'd have a look if I could get one too. Imagine my relief when I found out that any old 4x4 can have a fish tank: ebay 4612996705

See, Marcus has started something here. In six months we'll have coy (spelling?) carp fitted as an extra.

how come a ten min job turns out to take a day and now it in the kitchen still working on it

Ha ha, d'you know, sad thing is I was seriously chuffed with my installation from a personal & minor engineering achievement point of view & seriously embarassed by the carbuncle I'd stuck on top of it...........Now?

Now tho', after the valuable input, appreciated & constructive critique I've received from the venerable members of this site, it IS an 'installation'........in the same way a Cow sawed in half & suspended in formaldehyde or an unmade bed is an 'installation' in the Tate Modern.

Move over Hirst, feck off Emin make way for the march of the fishy/washing machine/ coffee pot/lighthouse movement........This is Landy art!

Know what it is? It was a pile of ****, it is ART!

Going for a lie down now!
