every single engine on this planet can actually produce more power from factory these limitations are normally turned down because of emission standards
but when does an engine see enough ..ie towing up hill heavy loads for long periods with extra fuel timing

even a mild remap its nice to see EGTs due to engine loads for long periods ( sensor pyro location is crucial)
a heavy map may be only for short periods depending on engine load the pyro acts as a early warning device
if you ever get a chance also monitor engine oil temps this means a sensor needs to be installed inside the sump and at what point does the engine oil temp start loosing its viscosity ? ( another early warning device)

then we also have a climate change humidity and altitude
so adjusting a mechanical fuel pump to suit a 2 degree day compared to 45 degree day so larger inter coolers are needed even on a stock system

Think you are a bit of a player but enjoy. If we ever get 45 degrees in the UK i will believe in global warming. The Earth has been a lot warmer and a lot colder all by itself.

not trying to be a player at all
there are many 200s and 300s and many other makes and models of landrover running around Australia its amazing how global warming works as its winter here ..I had 8 degrees on my out side temp 6 this morning ..but later in the arvo around 3 oclock it was 24 degrees .. just watched the news and humidity was @54 %

in the summer...... night time temps drops drastically as we have also had hail storms and even snow .8 hours later its during the heat of the day temps can reach up to 45 degrees and can reach higher if you take a 3 hour drive north

now given the size the stock intercooler maybe good for cold climates but not hot climates ... or only a few psi boost over stock as creating more boost creates heat and maxes out the efficiency of the intercooler

like I say a pyro gauge install before playing with fuel pressures timing etc ....or do you still rely on the engine coolant gauge before melting a piston ?
