A couple of month back my motor was sluggish so unplugged the MAF and the motor was like a rocket with it unplugged.

replace the MAF this weekend and drove it today for the first time and it still seems sluggish but not as bad as a couple of months ago, has the new MAF got to bed in? anything else to check?

Is the new MAF Genuine/VDO/Siemens? If not then it's probably already dead.
