Series 3 1982 petrol SWB , I have had to repair front section on exhaust which comes from manifold. I have tried to find triangle gasket to mid section however I can't find one , should there be one ? , Do they exist ?, when I seperate the sections there wasn't one , any help as always will be greatly received , thanks.

No the seal is on the ball end of the inner pipe ,clean it and spread some exhaust paste on it if it will not seal.
