Hi

This unit on the side of the FIP (2001 2.5 Diesel) is weeping very slightly, on closer inspection it looks like someone has lashed a different bolt in there, should I remove and clean/Replace the seals or just replace the bolt with a proper button head and leave well alone?

It's running very well at the moment and I am reluctant to upset the apple cart

I think thats the security bolt they talk about, if I am right and you want to remove it you gently hammer a 7mm socket over it, some one with more experience will know more
if they can work out the new format.

That is correct its the security bolt and yes a 7mm socket will remove it should you need to
