Just a very quick question here:

The 2.5 Diesel N/A engine in the 1986 90 that I am planning on buying shakes a bit, is this usual? Can it do anything any harm? I guess it is simply how the engine should be. It runs well, and doesn't shake just as much when it has a couple of REVS,

Thanks in advance for any help!

Was is like this just after it started? Could just be it had not fully warmed up, it can still be like that even after 4/5mins driving on tickover...

My whole landy shakes a bit, just don't put yer drink down on the dash or you'll end up with it in yer lap:D

Thanks for the replies, you guys are being a real good helping hand!

I think it was simply down to the fact that it was cold, I was told that at the time! It does calm down a bit once it's warmed up a little. I need to consider that it is fairly old too, so things may be a little worn!

Thanks again

I used to have a Triumph motorbike that if you left it ticking over on the stand it would slowly reverse itself ouut of the garage. That's vibration:D

My old Shovelhead would do that. Left it to warm up while I buggered about with another bike. Turned around & it had moved about 2 foot!

Hee hee, have got a story aboot an ol' burd o' mine riding pillion in slow traffic on the upholstered paracetmol that served as a seat , but she wuz durdy & this ain't the 'anything goes' section!
