I am going to have to start collecting tools to carry around with me in the landy, soooo..........

..What are the five most usefull tools that should be kept in the landy at all times?

I already have jump leads (have needed them twice since Christmas! :( ) and oil.

Strap (or chain depending on yer perveshun) wrench, big adjustable spanner, socket set, trolley or bottle jack, hammer.

FWIW: Oil int a 'tool' it's a 'consumable' unless yer talking about WD40, plusgas or 3 in 1. If yer talking about 3 in 1 then I'd recommend a chain wrench over a strap one everytime!

sum screwdrivers and a pair of pliers might come in handy

In me toolbox i 'ave heavy duty socket set, two adjustables (7" and 9"), hammer, breaker bar, set of pliers (long nose etc), various screwdrivers, WD40, Molkote 1000 tube, various colours of PVC tape, PTFE, assorted nuts washers circlips etc and spare angle grinder disks.

Angle grinder lives wrapped up in a boiler suit next to toolbox...

if yer a gurl, gaylander or jist a big wooosss i'd suggest one of them 12v or cordless impact wrenches incase you need to remove a wheel, and some more etc will all so help.

and if yer going out for a long time and might not get back in time fer tea how about taking along a cheese sandwich

Thank you, some of the tools I haven't even heard of!

Slob - wheres helpfull post no 2? (Thank you)

Driving Mad - What would I need a double ended dildo for? :D

Take 5 - what would I use an angle grinder for? I only want to be able to fix it, not re-sculpture the thing! :)

When you round off the head of a seized bolt that you have to remove to effect the repair, that's when you'll know why you need an angle grinder ;)
