Good afternoon all,

I have taken all the bolts out of the lt230 in the below picture, but she just won't budge. I can see that it's free, when I move the box up and down it's got a small amount of separation.

Am I missing something here, is there a bearing or something that's stopping the shaft from coming out?

Take the round back plate off(by the handbrake) remove the gear. As splines may be worn & holding it on…

Or some one has put a nut on the end of the shaft for fun

Or welded it!

Don't forget the bolt between the R380 and the front nose cone of the transfer box. It's easy to miss because it's hidden.

Thankfully it was just being stubborn, some sharp rocking and it separated, thanks all!
