Hi all,
Firstly, I know that there are a few threads relating to this already, but I cant find one that answers my question.
My 110 has a boge self leveling unit fitted between the rear axle and the chassis. It appears to work OK, but I need to replace the A frame ball joint.
Without the SLU, I believe that the task isnt too difficult, but I need to know what differs when this unit is fitted. I have lifted up the lower gaitor, to reveal a point on the piston which is flattened to accept a 29mm spanner, but as I turn this, the whole piston moves but nothing loosesns. What am I missing?
Also, does anyone know how under pressure the damper is? Its not gonna shoot out and attack me once I remove the bottom joint is it?
Thanks
Tom
