k, want some retractable seatbelts for the back of the series.

1) its a van back, and i have side facing seats. Can i just bolt them through the floor with big spacer plates between the floor? or does that need to be welded to something stronger?

2) Do they have to be ECE approved, or can i get away with the chinese variants?

you can get inertia reel lapbelts.. tidier when not in use.. had them on my old Estima so you could probably get some from a jap breeakers

yeh thats what i was thinking, but i think there ilegal

but! i'll just get lap belts, how do i mount them?

doubt they are illegal as they are fitted to nearly every coach in the country... but can't find any info that says either way for cars...

hang on, yeh, forwards, but sideways?

anyways, anyone got ideas about how to mount them?
