Hi,

Anybody know if I can put the forward facing 6th n 7th seats in my 200tdi?

I have four kids so would be happier for long distance travelling with the forward facing type can get all the kit for £2-300 the description says its for turning a 5 into a 7 seater comes with all new trims.

Anything will fit it you have the time and patience

IIRC when we used to convert vans for camper conversions, etc... they used to have to be done by a company that would issue a certificate for the insurers and whoever else took interest.

And that is different trim to a 200tdi.

Difficult one this.
Custom says no, but as stated above, anything is poss if yu throw enuf money and effort at it.
Those who have tried say all the rear trim needs to be replaced and locking parts have to be fitted thru the floor etc.
Deffo not an easy thing to do, by all accounts.

Hence the question sounds like a challenge! might have to give it a go just so I can post the results

Think I'll ask for measurements of the seat bases as these seats are in the Disco 2 as far as I've seen all the dimensions are still pretty much the same as the Disco 1 and I'm pretty sure the Trim will cross over with a bit of jiggery pokery.

I just dont want to have to cut the arches etc just to get the buggers in!

Have you thought about leg room, the Disco II boot is at least 6" longer to accommodate the forward facing seats
