I have a 300 tdi defender and want to buy some diff guards. I've noticed some adverts for a Rear 'Salisbury axle' diff guard.

What is the difference between a Salisbury axle and a normal axle and what would I have?

Thanks for all your help!

You’ve probably (nothing is certain on a Land Rover) got a Rover diff on the front, so if the back looks the same, it’s Rover, if it looks different it’s Salisbury.
Usually 90 Rover diffs front & rear, 110 Rover diff front, Salisbury rear (up until Td5s)
