So Hulk has failed his MOT - chassis issues surprisingly (not!) As of Friday he will be sorned pending a new chassis (sob). Replacement vehicle has been organised, so for the foreseeable we will be slumming it in a Honda CR-V - 57 plate, 74k miles, good nick, slightly lower road tax, reasonable insurance....what's not to like?
Pennies will be saved. Chassis will be sourced and fitted. Hulk will ride again! :D (just don't know when:()
Questions will be forthcoming about the practicalities and technicalities of a Disco 2 Chassis swap.
 
Check out LRM - one of the regular contributors has done a chassis swap on his D2 over the last few issues.
 
Looking for a check list of bits to disconnect/remove before lifting body. Might as well freeze my nuts off over the winter while saving the pennies :eek:

I've got a very clean 300tdi discovery chassis you can have for not a lot of money?
 
Thanks @Jayridium but there are too many differences between the 300tdi and the Td5 mounts to be worth going down this route I'm afraid.

All within the last 6mths mate - it was spread over a few issues. Sorry, about a precise as I can be and likely won;t have them laying about anymore either.
