Hi,

I was on landrover.net which disappeared a while back and I finally got round to signing up on here. Anyway, here is a few pics of my S3. I refurbed it a over the course of a few years. It was military, but I've moved it over to 12v and put a de-turboed 300tdi in it.

Cheers, GDL.

Hi and welcome from another new member!

Any pics of the Landy and engine conversion???

Thanks - it was getting hard to get hold of 200tdi's. I want to get a stock air filter in place of the cone filter. The cone filter was supposed to be temporary for MoT but it is still there 2 years later :)

Yes, apologies but I thought they were part of one of the adverts!

Looks like a cracking Landy.

Welcome to the mad house, I remember landrovernet, been a while though, it wasn't an especially busy forum and succumbed to the death roll of over saturation in the marque orientated forums, survival of the fittest and most able/willing/capable of adapting to the ever changing online world.

Good to see you found us and decided to set up shop :)

Nice looking series BTW, I can't help but think of soft lights and Barry White with those curtains drawn  :D

Ha! There's no radio in it and the lights are truck LED repeaters. Can run them for hours.

I took it round Norway before the rebuild. All the food stored under the bed and on the roof. Slept in there a lot. It leaks much more than a tent does.

Welcome to Lz buddy 300tdi looks nicely done I do like your noo I have a grumman myself ;)

A series is a pain to drive on a road. But as soon as it's on any lose surface, even a well made track, they make a lot more sence!
