Hi
Has any one else noticed that there engine block looks Rusty. I have a 2013 Defender 90 with the 2.2 engine. I thought Land Rover would have at least put some paint on it.

There's so much oil on mine it never gets rusty

Yes good point. At only 12000 miles i suppose mines not ready yet to self lube.

Should be alright. In the old days a lot of cars came from the factory with prerusted engine blocks. Or paint that wasn't heatproof so it rapidly burned off.
