Whatever you get make sure its spec'd up to comp level anything else is just a pretty piece of pipe! Be wary that minimum spec CDS isn't that tough dispite claims of carbon content and the like, Red band is Very tough and cheap but comes with a weight penalty against thinner walled CDS and cannot be bent as tight for sure. Forget CDS is superior it really depends what you want a cage for? One hit wonder CDS minimum spec or constant roll overs such as a CCV motor bouncing off trees weekend in weekend out Red band.
CDS can be tough but must exceed minimum spec wll thickness.
All this said if you want a full external cage then forget everything I have said as your back to a bling piece of pipe unless you get a manufacturer approved cage suitable for comps £££££
