Hi All.

I have a 1984 109 FFR. I mainly use it as a daily runabout on tarmac but find it very hard and bouncy on the road. It is fitted with Security 7.50-16 LT Tyres and a full set of Parabolic springs. What could I do to make it softer and more comfortable to drive.

Regards.

Chris.

Load depends on what I throw in the back but nothing too heavy just a few bikes and people.

As for pressures I tend to have them around 30 psi.

You could try 205 16 radials, or if you don't drive much off road 205 80 16 will be much cheaper.
Try greasing the leaf springs if dry.
Better seat squab might help.

Don't expect too much, this is a series Land Rover, they are not known for comfort! :)
