My ninety has a 200tdi fitted from a disco and associated gearbox and transfer box. I am thinking though that because i am towing alot the gear changes are long and sluggish. Maybe i am better going back to 1:41 ratio. Can i just swap this box over? i understand there may have been some alterations to the hand brake mechanism to get the disco transfer box in. Any one got a spare one of these box's in devon area

straight swap,just ensure both boxes dont have dowels in the 2 locations and one at least does

No potential problems with hand brake Linkage? I think i read somewhere that something with the positioning had to be altered to get it to fit in.

depends whats fitted to yours put 1.410 should have 2 x 8mm holes for bracket in rear facing part of speedo housing disco the side ,300tdi have none ,so should be ok fitting def box to def

Sorry to be a bit vague. My gearbox is a disco box. I am intending to put a defender 1:41 x-fer box onto disco gearbox, is this all still the same.

yes the same ,unless you get t/box 25d from lt85
