Warning (ie exclamation mark in triangle) top right of display and big version in centre of display on dash with "restricted performance" message. Nothing else except press OK to clear possibility.
Started today - country roads and up/down gentle meandering little hills about 40mph and later after 1 hour after doing 50-60mph and had been no problems.
Once on motorway speed and turbo appears to boost pressure, after a few mins light comes on can be turned off but after a few mins returns Fault code is P244A low DPF pressure

Just replaced all turbo hose pipes one was split this was causing restricted performaance issue orange and eventully red.

Now once engine reves are above 2500rpm it goes to red after a few mins, once car is switched off after 5 mins triange dissappears and returns back to normal.

When fitting the bottom right hand side hose noticed a slight bit of damage to intercooler and wondering if now pipes are replaced this is causing the problems may be a small hole or something
Any ideas please

Welcome Richard Willetts.
Sure someone might be able to help you better if you said what year vehicle you have.
Sounds too new for me.

Well if its your DPF its nothing to do with induction. Presume its an F2.

Meandering at 40 for an hour is not the best conditions for a DPF. They prefer hot and, to a lesser extent, high revs.

Dunno if you can do a forced regen on the F2.

LR diagnostics can force a regen, but I thought the car would display a ‘DPF full’ message, if that was the issue(?)

Hi in reply its a 2013 freelander 2 perhaps could be more clear on b roads 40 mph ish warning stays off (car drives and pulls as normal) but as soon as you get on a dual carridgeway or put the engine under load ie up hill at about 2500 rpm warning appears. Once I arrive home and leave the car staionary for a short while when i restart engine warning has triangel gone.
Tommorow will try a forced regen ie abouve 2000rpm for over 30 mins.

Assumed you’d already tried the normal regen route as your first post mentioned doing 50-60 for an hour, which should have forced it.
