Hello everyone,

I am looking for advice on tires for my disco, I have a 51 plate ES TD5 auto, it has OE Goodyear Wrangler HP, which are will need replaced soon

I have been looking and was thinking about General Grabbers, either UHP or AT2, I have read a lot or reports about the AT2's but not many comments about the UHP's

I live in Aberdeenshire and we can get a fair bit of snow but most of my driving will be at 60 mph on the dual carriageway so I don't think noise will be a problem. I am more concerned with fuel and how long they last! So if anyone could share there wisdom that would be great.

Try a search loads of threads on said question pro's and con's you have asked most asked question on here so expect some abuse

UHP's are new out me thinks. Hence the lack of reports. LRO did something on them recently.

When i bought my Jap reimport 300Tdi in Dec 2004 it came with Enduro Runway tyres fitted, After 50k miles when still legal;(Just) I replaced 4 with same for £300 inc vat and fitting. Have used them in snow when well worn without real problem. I really do not go offroad but have been on Green road runs on forestry roads and tracks without a problem.

Just had a set of General grabbers put on mine nice tyre AT new Pattern so the fitter said. I'll post a pic when i get home
