following the recent theft of my old landy, i'm looking for a replacement!
To be honest there aren't many good 1985/6 2.5 na diesels around and I liked it so much, I've decided to sell the car, use the insurance (fingers crossed) and get something a bit newer.
I'm sure this has been done to death and i did see a survey on here, but I'm looking at maybe a 300 or td5 and have read lots about reliability issues on the latter, but they are newer...
I haven't ruled out a 200, but maybe they are getting a little older - but i guess there are some in fantastic condition.
I'm guessing all will feel slightly different to mine and maybe better for everyday transport with that bit more power.
Any advice greatly recieved - also, if I get a 'van' is it expensive to put some windows in?

Would recommend 300tdi as they are cheap to maintain and can do all the work yourself.

Late 300 tdi is your best bet


Windows, go to a breakers and buy the side panels, faster to change them over and probs cheaper
