Hi all

I have a Holey rear crossmember on my 90, TD, but she's already had a replacement with extensions.

Can I just cut the old crossmember off, clean up the existing extensions, and fit another or am I going to have to find another solution?

Yes depending on if the extensions have rusted also.

The extensions seem OK although I guess I'll only really know when I get to look inside :)

Mines a pressbrake cross member. They are so good he should patent them and sell it to land rover.

They are what land rover should have fitted!!!

Thanks for the advice guys. I had a look at various crossmembers at Billing today and I reckon Pressbrakes look the best, at least they'll be easier to get the mud out of.

Now I just need to persuade the guy that wants my old LT77 to take it in exchange for his welding skills :)
