Hi, does anyone out there know if removing 12 old decals would leave a mark on paintwork.?

Yes it would leave a mark. The paint underneath the decal wouldn't have faded in the sun like the rest of the paint. T-Cut the entire paintwork after removal.

Pour hot water over em or warm with a hot air blower, softens the glue and they come off easier. The paint under them will still be darker as not faded by the sun as spyderman says, T-cut or G3 should sort it out but my mates landy has a faint mark from the county stickers on the doors still.

or as mine did it will rip all your paint off aswell

Be carefull with " cutting " back, if you over do it you,ll go through the exposed paint. ( as this will be thinner after 11 years of wear).And the paint that was under the sticker will by " shadow outlined " be base coat/primer.
