Hi, I'm just finishing converting my 110 into camper van. bed, cabinets, shower, kitchen etc... (pics soon :D)
I've heard, that I can register that kind of vehicle in DVLA as a camper van. Advantage is - lower tax...
Anybody knows what do I need in the vehicle to be able to register it as a motorhome? What are disadvantages (maybe limited millage or something like that)
Thanks

The tax is less on a camper?? I know a few people who've got em and I've never heard any of em mention that:confused:

if you are succesful at gettin it re registered as a motorhome watch your insurance as they will ask for a gas fitting certificate for your cooker/fridge, no difference in road tax costs as far as i know, only time i know it will help is on ferries as they can class the 110 as a commercial unless it has side windows but there would be no problem with a motorhome.

Mine has side windows, so no problem at all, but if you're sure there is no difference in the tax - maybe there is no point to bother...

i think yer gerrin a bit confused. there was a bloke that re registered a 53 seat coach as a camper cos the road tax was cheaper, but it ont make any difference to a landrover ;)
