How did you fit domestic Chubbs? I'd have thought the barrels would be the wrong shape?

Simples. fit the entire chubb lock assembly into the rear door as if you're setting it in a house door and set it up so that the dead bolt hooks in behind the door frame to the left of the rear door.

I'm intrigued - a 5 pin Chubb with some serrated spools sounds attractive. Have you got an image, or could you please point me to an image of the type of Chubb you used?

You can just about see the lock cover on the back of my 300tdi too
