Retired - Living the dream
Didn't notice that my rear screen heater wasn't working until last weekend.
Replaced the 30amp fuse in the fusebox under the steering wheel.
As soon as I turned the thing on again - blew the fuse.
Only thing I thought of was that I replaced the rear windscreen wiper motor during the summer.
Stripped the gubbins out the door but all looked fine.
Only thing was the wire from the screen (at the hinge side of the door) wouldn't pull back and forth as if trapped.
I did have the door off around a year ago to repaint and position the hinges, seems when I've put the door back on, the wire has been trapped between the hinge and door squashing it and causing a short

Two bits of shrink tubing an self amalgamating tape and job done.
Door back together and all working again.
