Im having a mare getting my layshaft with inner race fitted, to slot into the outer race on the main case of the gbox. The rollers on the inner keep moving out making it almost impossible to fit. Its taken 2 hrs of my life from me already. Would a more quality bearing be easier to line up?
anyone got any tips on how to get it in? The book just says line it up, yeah right.....

yes if the rollers pop out try greasing them to hold them or replace bearing ,remember it only fits one way round ,helps to hold reverse forward
