right'the rear half shaft's and drive flange's on my 300 disco are a complete unit'can they be swapped out for defender shaft's and flange's?

reason i ask is if i want to carry spares storing a disco unit is gonna be a pita cos the drive flang is attatched to it and the deepender's isnt.

Defender ones will fit however the disco ones have less splines to break and/or wear out
