I wonder if anyone has ever had a go at replacing the rear diff mountings. I have a 1998 1.8 freelander, and as far as i can see there are two rear mountings and one front one. I want to replace them in the hope that it will cure some of the vibrations. LR told me that the front one tends to go first and as it is a cheap part i thought i might change it. I had a look and it seems to me that i have to remove / lower the rear diff to cahnge it. Is this right or is there an easier way?

do a search - bin covered lots of times - i think Clutchdust? covered the procedure. If not he seems to be a good guy fur doin it.
