Afternoon all
I’m having to change my rear calipers as they’ve seized on. The truck will still drive but the rear brakes smoke like a laboratory monkey!!
I’ve changed calipers on other vehicles before but was just wondering if there are idiosyncrasies that I need to know about. Undo the 2x12mm bolts and the banjo joint and the calipers should come off the truck????
Thanks in advance

Technically yes .. if they're burning and smoking when moving, some percussive maintenance might be needed .. :)

Thanks Paul. I whipped one side off this morning and the bolts came away easily. I’ll change everything when my spares arrive

Thanks for replying. I haven’t disconnected any pipes yet but I do have a pipe clamp ready for when I do

All done. All bolts came away very easily and the calipers and pads were replaced in under 30 mins. Paddocks were very reasonable. Aftermarket calipers under £20 each side. Rear pads were under £14.
