Morning.

My local indy has said my rear brakes are totally fudged with a warped disc and all sorts, and I basically need a complete setup on the rear, and discs and pads on the front.

There seem to be so many variations, I am unsure which calipers in particular I need.

Also, anyone know of a good DIY for rear calipers? I know the bolts are shot so have invested in the irwin extractor kit - the garage quoted me £730 for new rear calipers, discs and pads fitted

Can the old caliper bolts be replaced with a more conventional hex top bolt rather than those rounded jobbys?

you can use the cheap britpart or bearmach versions ,i often do with no problems , google for rear stc1601 pads ,4 x ftc3375 bolts, ftc3846x2 disc,stc1268 and stc1269, and a couple of lock tabs for hubs ftc3179,you can get calipers for £30ish
