Doing a rear bearing today on my 96 disco and the caliper bolt seems to have been cross threaded ive re tapped it and itl do but just wandered if that part can be replaced on these axles as i want to fully refurb the axles at some point.

no its part of the axle case, did it have the right bolts there are a non std thread, you could helicoil or similar rethreading kit

Yea 12 point 1/2inch fit.
