Hi, can some one tell me what the readings should be across the coil on a 89 vogue se 3.5. I think mine may have died due to the cold weather.

What readings you want??
According to the Haynes manual the resistance across the coil should be 1.2 - 1.4 ohms at 20 deg.C and power consumption at 2000rpm should be 1amp.
That's all I could find.
