Cheer up. Some of these brain dead buttheads are finally being arrested.
One poor idiot of the female persuasion recently spammed a Get Rich Quick
chain letter all over Usenet. It included her name and home address. The
Feds just love that kind of case.

This isn't quite the same. The kind of spam you listed is deliberate. The
Microsoft internet explorer update it caused by a virus so unless the feds
start arresting people for leaving their computer unsecured or actually
punish microsoft for creating unsecure applications then they won't be
stopping anyone soon.
