Has anyone ideas if it is correct or not?
Best wishes.

Interesting. So presumably they had an adapter to mate up the 4.6 engine to the R380 gearbox. Wonder if they have any spares? Or maybe they snuck the Chevvy LS1 engine in there?

its most prob ex motorway police I had one once but not on coils, mine had twin batteries aswell & strangely a amo box bolted to the floor in boot,it was a ex Staffordshire motorway car 4.0 se auto, the one in pic/advert looks really low spec with manual heater controls/seats etc etc, I doubt any p38 left the factory on anything but air.

it would be the same s the 4 ltr bell housing

Just to be sure I'm understanding you here, James. If I were to find a manual 4.0 litre bell housing and a 4.6 engine I could connect it up to the R380 gearbox in my DT?

GRRRRR the input shaft on gearbox is differant on manual petrol boxes as well you would need the complet box

this is interesting. So no definitive as a rare car..
being on springs and no air-con are really negative points..
