My vehicle is in for a new diff anyway...

they called an said my nearside rear velocity console was split an leaking oil...?

anyone had any experiences with this? bad if it carrys on?
i know any leak cant be good so ive said to repair it, but how much work is involved..? cost etc?

WTF is a velocity console (control???), i suspect its a brake caliper and you can get them from a rangey or rover 75 front i think, plenty in scrappers for a few quid, and about an hour to swap it over, that includes tea brake!!!

i would go for new and possibly both sides if possible but technically if the others are ok all should be fine!!!!!

Are you sure they didnt say that the constant velocity joint boot had split? This would make sense if they are working on the axle.

i was tired the other night typing! Console Velocity Boot is correct

split, leaking oil, there changing it anyway
