Have recently bought a rather ratty old 300tdi Discovery (1) auto with 12 months MOT for not a lot of money, but naturally it also came with a list of 'advisory' faults commensurate with its age.
Amongst these is a recommendation to replace the bushes on the radius arms and rear linkages where they connect to the chassis.
Question: Are these just a push-fit or do I need special tools to fit them?
I've read that if I replace them with Polybush equivalents then these are a much tighter fit than if I just use OEM bushes.
I also need to replace the rubber doughnut betwixt rear propshaft and diff but this looks straightforward enough a job.
