Hello everyone,

Can you offer some advice on my radiator please.

I noticed that my radiator has some cool spots and mainly at the bottom of the rad it is quite cool, also the bottom pipe from the rad to the thermostat is quite cool. The rest of the pipes are fairly warm.

I was thinking of getting another radiator does anyone know if these are any good below or if you have any recommendations for radiators?

try flushing the system first, use a good flush like forté cooling system flush or wynns cooling system flush, follow the directions on the bottle
 
try flushing but get ready to get a new rad, for some reason v8 rads block like concrete:confused:. i got my last one fromisland 4x4. got a good deal because i was getting some other bits and i always feel better dealing with someone who has a good reputation
 
Thanks for the advice, its much appreciated.

I think I will go for a new Rad for peace of mind really.
 
Another question does anyone have any tips regarding installation of a new radiator?

How to correctly flush the system prior to installing and anything else you can think of that sort of advice please
