Bit of an overkill unless its been tuned for high bhp and rpm, quad unless bike carb size will be over carbing by a long way

Yup it will be, found someone local who i can trust to sort it all out, his advise was this is a much better way togo than EFI...

either that or an offenhauser and 500 carb like I'm running

easier to get hold of but there have been a few quads on ebay

thanks that's useful to know, one of the nice things i was told was also easier starting (good when my wife uses it), due to the accelerator pump?

Alot of people hate EFI,

A boxer manifold is good but bare in mind tein SU's with correctly setup are good for 220BHP.

Stick with SU's if your adamant to keep carbs. However EFI can be played with. The art is to get the FULL Recepie right and it will be a grand engine. just throwing in a Cam and it'll be alright isnt the way forward. P.S 4 Su'd means you need to get 4 identical Needles!!

nope, not something I'd ever consider buying. have a look on google someone will know or have sold one privately on a V8 forum

LOL, looks like my quest for power might be due to the fact its down on compression, see my other post :). My indie says these are a nightmare to setup so thats out :)

Throwing money at a carburettor to fit on an engine with potentially low compression would be pointless.

Fix the problems first then make it better, don't try and mask a loss in power with something else as you're wasting time and money.
