Hi,
Finally the list is getting shorter and shorter. I have been changing the various lights to LEDs, when I was changing the puddle light bulbs all went well with the exception of the rear near side passenger one. I have put a test meter on it and am getting .7 of a volt. this door also has the issue of not registering on the message centre when open (as posted previously) and was wondering if this is part of the same issue? I have not as yet got around to changing the switch unit on this door. Is the puddle light in any way connected to this switch or to the door outstation? One thing I did notice, while changing the rear off side puddle lamp the bulb broke (and apparently shorted) when I could not get it working with the new bulb I tested it with my trusty DTM and it also returned .7v until I found that it is connected to the Fuse 17 when the message centre flagged an ABS fault which when I looked at it it looked ok but as soon as I changed it all was well with the world (apart from the other rear door)
By chance is the other door on a different fuse? Everything in the car seems to be working fine (at last) so I am at a loss to see that it could be a fuse.
Seems strange that the puddle lights are fused separately to the interior lights though...…….
Cheers, I hope you have all had a brill bank holiday!

Could be a broken wire where the loom flexes as it goes from the B post to the door.

One other issue it has is that it doesn't switch on the courtesy lights. The power windows work fine though

Controlled by BECM so if it doesn't know it is open it won't know to switch on. Oddly, I have known a few BECMs that have failed for just the rear courtesy light.
