I had the rear oil seal done on the gearbox of my 1980 Range Rover last month. On having the old girl back she was misbehaving, and at 32 years old you'd think she'd know better.
The problem seemed to me as if the handbrake was not releasing, same noise same jolting as I tried to set off, reluctance to move, and knocking as I pulled up. It turn's out it wasn't the hand brake, but the propshaft being dry of greese, I shall await tomorrow and see if she is still OK.
