Hello,

I've taken half of my front propshaft of so I can replace the the gaiter that split then fell off. I have the part stc2955 but I can't get the gaiter to go over either the splines or the other end of the shaft. Any one got any tips or ideas on how to get it on please?

It's a wee bit tight and it will go over, just a bit of grease and work it over with a screwdriver. Try not to split it though

Stick it in warm water to soften it, and then grease it before it goes on.

Cheers chaps, I did try both of those, but I was in a rush as I had to take her indoors to the docs. So I rushed, didn't get it on and had to reassemble without it. I'll have another go tomorrow.
