So finally got round to doing the gearbox oil and filter on the TD6, easy job if a little time consuming and messy. Followed the cracking guide by Saint.v8 which was a big help and also his idea of the garden sprayer made easy work of the topping up procedure. Oil was clean and no Nasty metal shavings so fingers crossed its ok. Although does still judder at 53-55. But I noticed that stops if I knock it into sport mode.
Got that job done quicker than expected so I treated her to an engine oil and filter change to and even a new battery
