had problems with leeking power steering box, took advice , to put brake fluid (half a cup) in the reservoir.
result... was a lift home on the back of an R.A.C. lorry.
replacing box

Sorry to hear that jammy. Some times these things work sometimes they don't.... At least you know the box will be god for a few years
