Right finally had time to look at it today. Took off the new belt. Is the pulley meet to have lip on front and back to hold belt in place mine only has a front one and belt is sliding off the back of the pulley by 1 groove. And with belt off turned pulley by hand does 2-3 turns then gets really stiff can hardly turn it. Then goes easy again then same process again . So I take it pump is knackered.
