Hi All, I've got an ex military 1986 2.5n/a 110 that had power steering put on it. The bearing in the tensioner pulley collapsed today and the part has been discontinued. I hoped I could just change the bearing, but its a very odd thing. It's 28mm OD, 26.5mm wide, with a solid shaft in the centre of 17.5mm which sticks out by about 1/2" and fits into the casting that swivels to adjust the tension.
Does any one know if I can buy a new bearing or where I can find this part old stock?
The only bearings I can find on line are normal sealed ones at 28mm OD x 15mm ID x 7mm wide so I would have to find a lathe and make a new shaft 17.5mm at one end and 15mm at the other an fit 2 or 3 bearings.
Or maybe someone knows another way. It's going to be really hard work driving it around with no power steering.
Thanks
