My TD5 has an oil leak and I think it's coming from the power steering pump. Is it a new pump or could it be a gasket. I've found a nice thread with pictures on how to replace it but does it need a new pump? So far there is no difference to the steering but I'd like to get it sorted.
 
Most of the time the leak is due to the sealing elements inside the pump. The hard parts of the pump is normally fine unless an accident caused the problem.

Do it! You will feel a great sense of accomplishment once it's done and if can't do it you can just drive it to your local garage so no harm done ;)
