Hi
I would be grateful for some advice.
I have an 88 3.5 EFI and have a leak from the top plate (its a recondition Adwest 4 bolt which was fitted 4 years and 16,000 miles ago).
Before having looked at I was wondering how it easy it is to replace the top plate seal/ O ring?

is it your daily driver? If not crack it open and take a mooch! It'll be a gasket I'd of thought!!

Apologises for hacking the thread but my '87 has a slight leak from the other side of the engine bay, pump maybe?
Are there decent products (snake oils I guess) that can be added to the PAS system to alleviate the problem?

Lucas do a range of snake oils but ironically none that cures hissing
